Platform

Specialists do the work. The platform is designed to make it visible.

BelleMed's proposed coordination platform is built around one idea: credentialing shouldn't feel like a black box. It's designed to organize what specialists are already doing — not to replace the human judgment that credentialing requires.

What the proposed platform is

A window into specialist-led work, not a self-service tool

The platform described on these pages is a proposed capability under development. It is designed to give clients a clear, organized view of the credentialing, enrollment, and contracting work BelleMed specialists are performing — not to automate health plan decisions, government processing, or the judgment-based work of credentialing itself.

Organized around operational questions

The design is meant to surface what is in progress, what needs a client response, and what is waiting on a health plan or government agency.

Built to support specialists

BelleMed specialists do the credentialing work. The platform is designed to organize visibility, collaboration, and status around that work.

Why visibility matters

What clients would be able to see

Organized around the operational questions that actually matter day to day. This is a planned view, not a live portal.

  1. Organization & provider overview

A roster-level view of every provider and their current status.

  2. Applications in progress

Credentialing and enrollment applications, organized by plan and stage.

  3. Medicare & Medicaid

Enrollment, revalidation, and reassignment status by provider.

  4. CAQH & recredentialing

Profile readiness, attestation timing, and upcoming recredentialing cycles.

  5. Contracting status

Contract review, fee schedule findings, and negotiation progress.

  6. Recent activity

A record of specialist follow-up and status changes over time.

Human expertise and software

Specialists do the work. Software is designed to organize it.

Specialists perform the service

Credentialing, enrollment, and contracting remain specialist-led. The platform is not designed as autonomous or AI-driven credentialing.

Visibility, not replacement

The proposed platform is designed to organize status, collaboration, and next actions so clients are not left guessing.

External decisions stay external

Health plan and government processing outcomes remain outside BelleMed. The platform is not designed to connect directly to those systems.

What this platform is not

Boundaries that matter as much as the features

  1. Not a self-service credentialing tool

Specialists perform the credentialing, enrollment, and contracting work — the platform provides visibility into it.

  2. Not a health plan or government system

The platform does not connect directly to health plan or government systems and cannot guarantee their processing outcomes.

  3. Not live today

Everything described on Platform pages is a proposed capability, framed as designed or upcoming rather than currently available.

  4. Not a replacement for specialist judgment

Credentialing decisions and follow-up require human expertise that the platform is built to support, not substitute.
